Holy Ground is a three-dimensional football field, a postmodern temple, monument to honor the game of sport. Holy Ground plays with the boundaries between architecture and sculpture, between art and sport, between sport and religion. The actualized sculpture/building is planned on a scale 1:10 compared with an authentic football field which is 100 x 73 m.
